The 99% Rule
Protecting the 99%: passive water management for scalable margins.
DualPool is a proprietary, zero-CapEx drop-in system that actively maintains water clarity 24/7 between technician visits—protecting the asset without adding billable labor hours.

What the route data verifies
Shasta Pool Care Division · 600+ pools / weekOperational efficiency
Eliminates cloudy water callbacks during monsoon season, drastically reducing emergency truck rolls.
Direct cost reduction
Consistently achieving a 5% to 10% reduction in per-pool chemical costs.
Native integration
Acts as an active phosphate remover, replacing expensive standalone treatments.

The M&A platform engine
The M&A roll-up multiplier: scaling without linear headcount.
Private equity consolidation relies on route density. DualPool allows Shasta to acquire regional competitors and realize an 11% margin expansion on acquired books on Day 1.

Brand Equity & Liability Shield
“Aligning with Shasta's 58-year premium brand promise.”
Physical Asset Protection: 100% copper-free and non-toxic. Eliminates the risk of heavy metal surface staining, directly reducing plaster warranty claims and long-term repair liabilities.
The Retention Engine: Uninterrupted visual clarity. By maintaining a crystal-clear aesthetic between technician visits, DualPool passively delivers the premium “luxurious retreat” experience that drives Shasta’s customer retention, helping to mitigate the 10% annual industry churn risk.
Route Efficiency: “We’re seeing a 5 to 10% drop in chemical cost per pool, and the cloudy-water callbacks in monsoon season are gone.” — Brock F., Shasta Pool Care Division.
20-week trial data
Operational alpha: slashing supply chain volatility.
Chemical spend is the most volatile line in a route-based P&L. Passive treatment structurally reduces the quantity purchased, stored, transported, and handled per pool.

Why the reduction compounds at scale
- Self-dosing, self-limiting release removes human dosing error and overdose waste.
- Phosphorus removal starves algae, cutting reactive shock and acid corrections.
- Filtration down to 0.1 micron vs. a 3–20 micron standard filter baseline.
- Less liquid hazmat on trucks: lower freight weight, storage, and liability load.
Fleet integration · Retail channel
Embedded in the route. Ready for the shelf.
Engineered Exclusively for the Shasta Fleet.
To eliminate route friction, DualPool engineered a custom 10-count contractor package specifically for Shasta Pool Care. This bulk format eliminates individual retail packaging waste, accelerates morning truck-loading, and optimizes inventory footprint at the warehouse level.

Zero-CAPEX Install & Retail Expansion.
Drop-In Ready: Installs directly into the existing skimmer basket in under 10 seconds. Zero plumbing, zero controllers, zero power draw.
Self-Dosing Technology: Releases chemistry passively as water flows, removing technician guesswork.
Secondary Revenue Stream: The contractor pack is fully approved and packaged for B2C public retail through Shasta Pool Supply, turning a maintenance tool into a high-margin retail product.

Clarity is the retention asset.

The 99% argument
Ninety-nine percent of a pool's active service life happens between visits. The tech leaves the property pristine; DualPool is what keeps it that way until the next stop.
